| Toucan Teak are specialists
in the import and distribution of exotic teak hardwood flooring,
decking and specialty products from renewable resources.
Toucan Teak is FSC certified. FSC certification
means that the teak forest was certified by a 3rd party auditor
and that the auditor confirmed that the forest is meeting
international growing and harvesting standards. FSC means
that the factory was certified by a 3rd party auditor for
meeting international standards for working conditions, safety,
wages and local economic and social impact to the community.
Toucan Teak, LLC as the importer and distributor
was certified by FSC for not co-mingling FSC certified products
with non-certified products and for maintaining records of
sales. Each certification is given a Chain of Custody number
that connects the forest to the factory and the factory to
the importer/distributor.
