What are the positive environmental impacts of your product (what makes it “green”)?

We use SFI and FSC certified wood materials such as our Maple plywood box interior used at the Suncadia project house; we also use Alder lumber to make our wood drawer boxes; most of our Cherry wood is FSC certified.

What makes your product a healthy/healthier option for the home (does it have lower - or no - impacts on human health compared to similar, traditionally manufactured products?)

Our Sherwin Williams conversion varnish top coat finish applied to wood doors has no hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), or formaldehyde. Our Maple plywood box interior option uses no added formaldehyde adhesives.

What are the financial benefits of using your product (does it save the homeowner money when compared to a similar, more traditionally manufactured product?)

Specifying green materials is typically more expensive than standard materials in the cabinetry industry. Pacific Crest Cabinets however has long standing relationships with raw material suppliers allowing for competitive pricing on SFI and FSC lumber. This saving is passed on to the consumer.

How does your product contribute to a higher quality of life versus other products, and if so, why? (For example, is it a better quality of heat? Is it easier to maintain?)

We provide a high quality product built to exact standards utilizing the latest in wood cabinet manufacturing technology and materials. The product sells for less than many custom cabinet lines, however provides equally long-lasting construction and durability. Competitive price, long lasting, high quality, low maintenance = beautiful worry-free cabinetry in the home environment.
