Smith-Laredo, Casa Monterey
The Casa Monterey line is part of the designer
series offered by Smith-Laredo. These pavers are a timeless,
sophisticated and more durable alternative to fragile terra
cotta or clay pavers. This low maintenance product can be
used indoors or out and is designed to meet the demands of
children and pets. Smith-Laredo follows eco-friendly business
practices. Their concrete tile is comprised of only cement
and oxidized pigments. While ceramic or porcelain tile requires
the use of a high-fire gas or electric kiln, the concrete
tile from Smith-Laredo cures outdoors, naturally. In addition,
the finished product produces zero off-gases.
Michelle Griffoul Bronze
A ceramic tile artist for 25 years, Michelle
Griffoul began offering her line of bronze tiles as a way
of continuing her family’s bronze legacy. A tradition
that spans over four generations, Michelle discovered a foundry
with the sensitivities to the lost wax technique her Great-Grandfather
and Grandfather studied in Paris, France. All of her bronze
pieces are solid and cast using this same technique, reminiscent
of the French bronze of 100 years ago.
Metaphor Bronze, Timberline Pine
Metaphor Bronze strives to bring excellence
in design and craftsmanship to all of their products. Their
artists place a high priority on detail and follow the design
process from inception to the carefully cast bronzes and finally,
the handcrafted patina to match your color scheme. The Timberline
Pine line specified was designed by Michelle Post, one of
the original artists for Metaphor Bronze.
